What We Do

Thinking about starting a new business? Seeking advice on growing an established business? Looking to plan an exit strategy? The Florida SBDC at the University of North Florida (FSBDC at UNF) has the right tools and expertise to assist you. No matter where you are in the business life cycle, our professionally credentialed business consultants have the real-world experience and expertise to help you make the right business decisions. Business owners or aspiring business owners can reach Annie Grogan at the Clay County Chamber of Commerce at a.grogan@unf.edu.

In addition to SBDC, a member of the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), a program funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration provides counseling services. Contact SCORE at 264-2651 to set up a Monday morning appointment.

Leadership Clay

Leadership Clay is a ten-month program that acquaints emerging leaders to the opportunities, realities, and challenges of our community. The curriculum is developed to stimulate thought and encourage discussion and debate. The program is geared so participants are motivated to make a personal contribution to the betterment of Clay County through acceptance of leadership positions in the community.
